I was going to edit , but found it practically useless as there are many definitions.

A user can use it for graphical direction of a physical object, or a function direction through a channel, direction for guidance, or relating to . It's not a very useful tag, and was talked about burning here.

I retagged a couple of these as "rtl", which brought to light the fact that there's no corresponding "ltr" for a question about forcing left-to-right, no generic "text-direction", and that "rtl" and "right-to-left" both exist (I don't have the rep in either to suggest a synonym.
