Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 155 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Am referring to Pretty <kbd> tags for U&L?.

Can someone mark it as is will no fix or is will fix later, or whatever. If so, what are the challenges? On that thread there's some speculation (not good), and not one response from one of the SE workers.

Am also curious if any other sites have a similar issue.

@ShaWizDowArd: per-site metas don't have bounties. That Q has been bumped, it's been tweeted, and it has the highest vote count on that meta right now. The next-highest feature request on U&L is in the same state. – Mat Mar 14 '13 at 8:32
@Mat didn't know there are no bounties in per site meta sites! Hmm.. so maybe that question can be migrated here where more "officials" are roaming the place? :-) – Shadow Wizard Mar 14 '13 at 8:34
@ShaWizDowArd I noticed that SE workers do visit per-site metas, and one was alerted of this request... no need for a migration. – Tshepang Mar 14 '13 at 8:38
@Mat my approach for bumping per-site feature requests is to carry on related MSO questions and put bounties on these: example 1, example 2, example 3. For more site-specific requests like kbd tags at U&L though, it probably makes sense to have dedicated MSO "outlet" in order to use bounties – gnat Mar 14 '13 at 14:32
No promises, but our designer is looking into it. – Jaydles Mar 14 '13 at 15:04
I thought Unix users were old bearded fellows that feared change (namely X and USB interfaces), does this represent a change in the user base? – user7116 Mar 14 '13 at 16:58
