Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I edited a question and got 2 reps and then after 2 days that post got removed and I got -2 reps.

I can accept that, but the no. of successful edits also decreased by 1. As one of my suggested edit was approved by reviewers, it should be in the no. of successful edits.

I just want to know, What is the reason for decreasing the number of successful edits during removal/migration of those posts?

Was the question/answer you edited was deleted ? – Apurv Mar 28 '13 at 7:29
you place more value on number of suggested edits than rep? – hayd Mar 28 '13 at 7:29
@Apurv, yes some of them are migrated – Azik Mar 28 '13 at 7:32
@gnat That asks about rep. This asks about edit count. How is it a duplicate ? – AsheeshR Mar 28 '13 at 7:45
@AshRj agree, it's not a dupe. Unfortunately, deletion faq post says nothing on that, either – gnat Mar 28 '13 at 8:21
