I failed in an audit and I'm not sure why.

I would flag this question as not a real question because in the faq We have the following:

What kind of questions should I not ask here? You should only ask practical, answerable questions based on actual problems that you face

and

To prevent your question from being flagged and possibly removed, avoid asking subjective questions where … every answer is equally valid: “What’s your favorite __?”

In my point of view "Does anyone know of" questions are not in the correct format.

So can someone explain to me why this question should not be closed?

This question has been asked before and already has an answer. If those answers do not fully address your question, please ask a new question.

It has enough upvotes, was never voted to close before, so the algorithm thought it was a good question that shouldn't be closed. Happens from time to time. –  Daniel Fischer May 24 '13 at 15:13

As @TinSoldiers said, sometimes the review audit criteria select questions which just suck. –  Emrakul May 24 '13 at 15:14

Well, I'm somewhat happy that I was not doing a bad judge –  fotanus May 24 '13 at 15:15

I'm with you. Close it. But then, I propose at this stage of SO's life where nearly everything is a duplicate of a question asked earlier (and better), and nearly everything else is simply crap, all questions should be closed by default and opened only with 500 votes. –  Anthony Pegram May 24 '13 at 15:15

@GeorgeStocker Right there. –  Undo May 24 '13 at 15:16

Wow, that was fast. –  Undo May 24 '13 at 15:17

The community should start marking these as duplicates. –  Emrakul May 24 '13 at 16:29

There are 5,089,719 questions on SO. Noone should post newer questions without going through all the existing ones and making sure that their question is not duplicate. –  Daniel Daranas May 24 '13 at 16:32
