This question came from our site for professional and enthusiast programmers.

The information here doesn't work for careers.stackexchange.com. –  Drew Noakes Nov 3 '14 at 21:47

To merge any two accounts, follow the procedure outlined on the "User Merge" help page.

If you're into URL modification, you can just go directly to http://$site/help/merging-accounts. For example, http://stackoverflow.com/help/merging-accounts, http://english.stackexchange.com/help/merging-accounts, and so on.

@JeffAtwood 1) Does this go for each separate StackExchange site one has created separate accounts on? 2) Could I later ad the deleted account’s login to the list of logins on the account I keep? –  Alfonso Mar 25 '14 at 17:59
