Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

The last "Open Source Advertising - Sidebar" I see, Open Source Advertising - Sidebar - 1H 2013 is for the first half of 2013, which has been over for about 2 months.

Is there another place to submit these, or is this project dead?

The project is not dead. I'm not entirely sure why we have two threads, but I think for now you should still be okay to post your ads in the 1H one. I pinged the person who usually hooks these up and asked them to drop by with a better answer. – Adam Lear Sep 4 '13 at 21:46

The project is not dead. More relevantly, thread creation is not automated. It's something we've looked at doing but it hasn't exactly been a large priority, because usually I don't botch the timing this badly. Usually, so naturally as this is not usually, I botched the timing this badly.

I've posted the new iteration of the session here. I was originally going to add an extra disclaimer about any advertisements posted within 2H 2013 to remain eligible and can be reposted... but every ad posted since then hasn't actually hit the threshold to begin with, so we're kinda green there.

Any word on these threads for 2014? – Mitch Aug 20 '14 at 19:53
@musher It's a Stack Overflow thing, so it's been ongoing over at their Meta. – Grace Note Aug 20 '14 at 20:14
