Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

When flagging a comment for some reason, no tooltip appears to say "Thanks, we'll take a look" or similar upon submitting the flag... just... nothing.

Can you please add such a feedback so we know the flag did not fail and went on its merry way?

I don't recall seeing such feedback, just the vote arrow and flag icon not showing anymore. Anyway you can track the flag process in the flag summary page. – Shadow Wizard Sep 8 '13 at 10:46

@Sha: It's more about the "is this still loading?", "did it fail?" side of things... – Matt Sep 8 '13 at 10:48

Hmm.. good point but it might be a feature request rather than a bug. :) – Shadow Wizard Sep 8 '13 at 10:50

There's never been any feedback message after successfully adding a comment flag, only when an error occurs... perhaps we should add one. – Jarrod Dixon Sep 9 '13 at 4:53
