What is meta? ×
Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 150 Stack Exchange communities.

I have got a server not found at a few times during the last few days when trying to reach stackoverflow. It turns out that my web browser suggests www.stackoverflow.com which doesn't always work. The URL stackoverflow.com does work.

All of a sudden, I have the same issue on my work desktop. stackoverflow.com works fine, but stackoverflow.com or meta.stackoverflow.com does not work. blog.stackoverflow.com, oddly works as expected. – user135522 Sep 8 '09 at 15:44

I didn't notice since my shortcut does not have the www, but if I enter the stackoverflow.com it does not work. – Pierre-Alain Vigeant Sep 8 '09 at 17:28
