Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Atlanta has a thriving geek community. IgniteATL was recently hosted at the GTRI which is a great venue for Dev Days. Please up vote to bring Dev Days to Atlanta.

Not to mention there are other southern states that don't have a near-by Dev Day. There are a few cities in NC that could work as well.

  • Raleigh
  • Wilmington
  • Fayetteville

all come to mind as they are either great locations or have colleges with quality tech degrees in the area.

North Carolina isn't that far from Washington, D.C., though. – mmyers Sep 8 '09 at 21:04
True, but its closer to where I live than DC, and helps some others in the Southeastern states. :) – AnonJr Sep 9 '09 at 1:29
Wilmington and Fayette 'nam? Ooof. Why not Charlotte. :-) – George Stocker Oct 7 '09 at 0:06
Also not to mention the big tech compaines who are here in Raleigh (IBM comes to mind). – Dexter Mar 31 '10 at 19:54

Ahem... Nashville'd be great, too.
