Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

When I attempt to load the close question box on a site that I don't have enough rep to vote for question closure, the box will show the loading indicator forever. There's no error message or other indication that it has failed to load.

On a related note, on the sites I do have the close vote privilege, the close box takes seemingly forever to load. Sometimes it's faster for me to open the browser, and cast my vote from there instead of waiting for the app. Is it possible to speed this up?

using v0.1.77

A related issue: if you open the close vote dialog on a question that you have already cast a close vote, it will never finish loading. – ChrisForrence Dec 22 '13 at 14:15

Looks like this is in version 1.0.5. The Close option no longer appears if you don't have enough rep to vote to close.
