What is meta? ×
Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 128 Stack Exchange communities.

This network has given so much to me over the years and I want to give a little something back. Whether that's a good thing or not...is for the community to decide with the triangle buttons. Without further ado, I grant to you:

Wait, why wouldn't you put gold badges where golden rings go? Seems like the most logical place for them. –  animuson Dec 25 '13 at 18:33

You’re a good person! Have a sensational day. –  minitech Dec 25 '13 at 18:43

@animuson I'm guessing because "pings" rhymes with "rings." –  Pops Dec 25 '13 at 19:27

The rhyme is one part, Gold Badges tend to be scarcer on non-Trilogy sites so the two seemed appropriate. –  World Engineer Dec 25 '13 at 19:32

-1: Cute, but you're really reaching with a few of those. –  Jim G. Dec 26 '13 at 4:13

Looks good, but I have a couple of edits to make:

On the Ninth Day of Christmas, Stack Exchange gave to me, nine Shogs-a-Shogging, eight help vampires, seven silent downvotes, six meta posts, five chat pings, four close votes, three scrblnrds a scrabbling, two Gold Badges and a user called Community♦.

On the Third Day of Christmas, Stack Exchange gave to me, three scrblnrds a scrabbling, two Gold Badges and a user called Community♦.

You just missed one hat. ;) –  Amal Murali Dec 25 '13 at 19:52

what hat is that? –  scrblnrd3 Dec 25 '13 at 19:52

I'm not supposed to reveal the name, because I'm not listening! –  Amal Murali Dec 25 '13 at 19:56

That's a funny phrase, "supposed to" –  scrblnrd3 Dec 25 '13 at 19:57

You could have gotten a hat... anyway, I'm not listening (hint hint) to this –  Doorknob Dec 25 '13 at 21:06

Oh. meh, it was a good edit, so I accepted it –  scrblnrd3 Dec 25 '13 at 21:08
