Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

This greasemonkey script will re-order answers to questions according to the old "Votes" scheme (prior to August 2009), which was by votes and then by date (earliest first).

If you aren't viewing answers sorted by "Votes", does nothing.

Isn't this kind of pointless unless everyone uses it? Even if everyone on meta starts using it, 90% of users are still going to see the random sort ordering. – Bill the Lizard Sep 15 '09 at 15:40
@Bill: Some people were complaining about the view simply being aggravating because the relative position of answers they were reading would change as they browsed around the site. This should make them happy. – ベレアー アダム Sep 15 '09 at 17:06
@Adam: Okay, I can see it being useful for that. – Bill the Lizard Sep 15 '09 at 19:52
can this please be moved to as necessary? Or flag for deletion. – Jeff Atwood Jul 31 '11 at 22:49
