Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

It would be nice to be able to have an RSS feed that only included questions I ask and answers. This would allow me to share my Stack Overflow activity on other sites without having the noise generated by comments

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Then go to the Recent tab.
  3. Click on the RSS feed for that page.

And then parse out those with the following node:

<title type="text">Comment by ...</title>

Does that work for you?

How would I do that? Yahoo pipes (heard of it but never used it)? – Casebash Sep 20 '09 at 10:18
You could Yahoo! Pipe it, just grab the feed, filter out any of the items that contain the title node with "Comment by" and you should be set. – random Sep 20 '09 at 14:17
Yahoo pipes seems to only include the titles not the content in the RSS – Casebash Sep 21 '09 at 10:25
Okay, well, time to play around with some Pipes then... – random Sep 21 '09 at 10:48
Good thing it works for you now. – random Sep 22 '09 at 6:26
