Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I know the answers for many questions but I can't reply because I don't know where to paste the code.

This question came from our site for professional and enthusiast programmers.

Just put it in with your question. If you want to paste more than a couple of dozen lines, then whittle it down to just the core. No (sane) person will debug huge swathes of code for you. – Adam Wright Sep 22 '09 at 12:15
wow, seriously? – user221081 Mar 14 '14 at 12:33

The small "{}" image on the toolbar above the textbox can handle code implementation.

@LGSon - it wasn't useful because you could have made the edit yourself rather than flagging it for someone else to do. I pointed this out in the reason I gave for declining the flag. – ChrisF Mar 15 '14 at 18:38
That I could have done .. will do that next time – LGSon Mar 15 '14 at 19:15

Paste your code, select it and press Ctrl+K to format it as code, or press the small "{}" button on the edit bar.
