Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I find viewing everyone else's deleted answers kind of distracting, and sometimes it's hard to not pass judgement when viewing some of them. Any chance of getting an option to be able to just not load them?

Sounds like a simple greasemonkey script, do you care about viewing deleted questions? – John Rasch Sep 25 '09 at 21:29
Ha ha... I knew a greasemonkey answer was inevitable ;) I don't really care about questions as much. – womp Sep 25 '09 at 23:13
Did you ever get a greasemonkey script to hide the mess? – Mr.Wizard Oct 28 '11 at 10:30

I would be happy if all the deleted answers were simply at the end regardless of their votes or answer/edit time.

Agreed. See the top related link on the right to all who agree. – TheTXI Sep 26 '09 at 0:19
This would be a fine solution too. – womp Sep 28 '09 at 16:21
I could go for this. In fact, it might be technically better than mine. Less ajaxy stuff happening might be better. – Thomas Owens Sep 28 '09 at 16:52

Perhaps something like the "show more comments" would be good, so you can see where there is a deleted post, but it's a one line message that doesn't show anything other than a post was deleted.
