Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 155 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I want to add a bounty to my question on SO. I have checked threads on Meta but I am not able to find how to add a bounty to my question.

What am I doing wrong?

Note: I am not able to include the link of the searched meta thread, because I am a new user here.

You have to wait two days before you can add a bounty. This has been covered many times. – mmyers Sep 29 '09 at 17:41

You need to wait at least 48 hours to start a bounty.

Read about bounties.
