Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

In this question (probably others too), if I try to sort the answers by 'Votes' its still showing an answer with 2 votes above an answer with 3 votes. Please see the screenshot here.

The accepted answer is always first.

Not always. Self-accepted answers remain in place. But that is what's happening in this case. – Joel Coehoorn Oct 2 '09 at 17:03
It's just that now it's hard to see whether an answer is accepted. – mmyers Oct 2 '09 at 17:18
See. this is why they need to bring back the accepted answer's green color, its too easy to miss that the answer is accepted right now – Click Upvote Oct 2 '09 at 19:11
