Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 155 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

When viewing a list of my own questions, if I switch to page 2 of the list I can't go back to page 1 by clicking "Back" in the browser.

Is this by design?

Edit: thanks for the replies. Can the back button be made to work in this case please?

That's because those page buttons actually execute an ajax request in stead of a whole page request.
I wouldn't say that's actually "by design" as it's possible to make the back button of your browser behave like you want it to (gmail does this all over the place).
