Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Why isn't it a tab for sorting by the number of answers that a question has?

Not sure what the use case would be for this -- maybe it's worth elaborating why you'd want to? – Rowland Shaw Oct 10 '09 at 13:39
It would be some sort of a measure of knowledge-popularity about the question... and easier to find and answer questions with few answers. – luvieere Oct 10 '09 at 14:33

You can make the search shake its tail feather for you and query for questions based on the minimum answers posted.

If you wanted to see questions tagged [jquery] with at least five (5) answers:

[jquery] answers:5

If you wanted at least 15 answers:

+1 for this, I knew about it, but nonetheless, it's a useful answer for other users that might be wondering how to do that. However, it doesn't answer my question as to why there isn't a tab for that. – luvieere Oct 10 '09 at 15:48
Oh definitely doesn't answer your question, but comes as close. – random Oct 11 '09 at 0:35
This is a pretty cool url hack - but IMHO should have appropriate widgets to control it. – javamonkey79 Nov 15 '10 at 17:16
