Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Possible Duplicates:
Comments incorrectly sumbitted as an answer instead: what should we do?
Correct action for non-answers by new users

Sometimes I see new users come to the site, find a question, but don't have enough information to answer it. Because they don't have enough rep to leave a comment on the question they write their questions for clarification as answers. These are obviously not real answers but they are legitimate requests for more info.

What is the correct way to approach this?

ALrighty, there we go. Added my answer to both those questions and deleted one here. – Troggy Oct 27 '09 at 22:44
