Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I'd like to make the request for a new Stack Overflow tag/category for hyperlink management strategies. I don't yet have enough 'reputation' to add it myself.

In my mind the tag would be used for questions dealing with:

  • Preventing broken links
  • Storing links in a database
  • Link references from within templates (DRY linking)
  • Content management as it relates to links

This question came from our site for professional and enthusiast programmers.

If you want this tag to be created, ask a question related to it and set it as one of the tags. I suspect this will be closed as it's not actually a programming question. – Neil Aitken Nov 27 '09 at 17:14
