Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I don't know if it is a mistake of the system or if this employer is just being over-eager. But an employer maybe shouldn't be allowed to send the same job advertisement twice in one day to the same person.

Not exactly sure whether to tag this as a bug, feature-request, or support

Oh sure. You guys just want to show off that you're in demand! ;-P – Adam Davis Dec 4 '09 at 19:57

Nice to know the competition, though, isn't it. Assuming, of course, only one employer has done this. – tvanfosson Dec 4 '09 at 20:04

We now block multiple requests (probably accidental) from employers if an existing request is already "in flight"
