Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Is there a site similar to Stack Overflow, but for tax-related questions?

Probably is: Meta.StackExchange.com/questions/4/list-of-sites – random Dec 10 '09 at 4:10

The only issue...would be the lack of awesome and benevolent lawyers/tax-pros/attorneys giving free consultation :) – Xencor Dec 10 '09 at 4:11

@Xencor: the net doesn't lack for people willing to give legal advice. :-> – Charles Stewart Dec 11 '09 at 18:33

As of a few days ago, meta.stackexchange.com/questions/4/list-of-stackexchange-sites no longer exists. All meta.stackexchange.com URLs redirect to the MSO main page. – Pops Mar 3 '11 at 23:07

I really like this idea. – ThomasReggi Feb 3 '15 at 5:34

I wouldn't want to be that site owner's umbrella insurance company! ;-) – John Rudy Dec 10 '09 at 5:12
