Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Is there a way to know the breakdown of your reputation points?

It doesn't show rep changes for deleted answers, at least not if you wouldn't otherwise see them. – Brad Gilbert Jul 7 '09 at 20:48
@Brad: right. AFAIK, anything that would go away in a rep recalc isn't shown. – Shog9 Jul 7 '09 at 21:02

You can check your reputation graph on your profile page but it won't show everything (such as questions and answers which have been deleted, or bonus points achieved through things like associating accounts).

You can keep a more minute-by-minute track of your rep by looking at the reputation breakdown on your recent activity page as well. This will show you all the active posts you have made and the number of votes (up or down) and the total points gained or lost from the actions.
