Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I like to look at my recent activity a lot and when i go to my user page to look at questions and answers, they're always sorted by votes first, when what I'd like is ordering by date by default. Is there a way to enforce a default ordering or remember my last preferred ordering? A client side cookie would seem sufficient.

That'd be nice. I usually do click "newest" as I want to see how my recent answers are doing. – Paolo Bergantino Jul 7 '09 at 20:45
can someone edit this tag to feature-request – TStamper Nov 2 '09 at 19:37

I just wrote a script (greasemonkey) that will auto-sort questions by date for you: How to make "recent" activity by default?
