Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I don't really think it is a duplicate - That is about what SE/unofficial sites do you want... This is about plans for official sites. – William Hilsum Dec 23 '09 at 0:20
Since this question is patently void of context, the dupe fits in the grand scheme of things. – random Dec 23 '09 at 0:25

List of StackExchange sites

Travel (there are others, too)

"Life" is too undefined to list a particular site

That is what they made the StackExchange for... Why run sites in other topics when you can get others to pay (in the end) and run them for you!

... I think officially, they may launch a few more computer related sites if a certain topic becomes big and not exactly or directly related to an existing site, but I doubt they will move far away from computing.

I was sort of expecting a game(s)/console related site, but now there are Stack Exchange sites dealing with this, I doubt they will.

Only Jeff and the Fog Creek staff know the exact plans!
