Every time I attempt to publish to a primary domain (buscontention.com) for my site, buscontention.stackexchange.com, I get the "The Confirm Code is Invalid!" error.

Here is what I am doing:

  1. created the site with a google openid
  2. setup the domain stuff as instructed
  3. added aliases, published
  4. picked the alias I wanted as primary from the dropdown, hit publish
  5. when presented with the login screen, i use openid
  6. prompted to create a new user, so I do.
  7. presented with

The Confirm Code is Invalid!

The confirm code is invalid, so we're not going to change your site's configuration.

Maybe, it's already been used and you're on this page because you hit the back button, or maybe something weird happend. In any case, if you do want to change your primary domain, the easiest thing to do is to go to the admin page and try again.

I've tried this several times now... it never works. Any ideas?

This is a bug introduced in Beta 6. It will be fixed in the next deploy.

If you are experiencing problems with this, please contact Fog Creek Support with your site name and what you'd like your primary domain to be and we'll fix it manually.
