Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I propose to change the wording of the new close votes count from 12 votes remaining to You have 12 votes left, as the former can be confused with the votes remaining in order for the post to be closed.

I feel kinda stupid right now and I'm sure many of you haven't mistaken it, but if I did then other people probably will (especially new users). The change has no downsides and takes only a few seconds to implement.

Seems reasonable and increases clairity. I give it a Meta-Question Reducation Score of 5. (The number of questions on meta it will prevent from being asked) – Tyler Carter Feb 13 '10 at 23:14
@Chacha102: MQRSs? I don't believe they exist. – quack quixote Feb 13 '10 at 23:44
@~quack: +1 for obscure Princess Bride reference. – Robert Harvey Feb 16 '10 at 20:47
