Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Where should I place this type of question?

  • How can I get a good job in the USA in the Web Design/Development field if I'm currently living in another country?

  • What other things are needed to live and work in the USA other than knowledge and experience?

  • Should I send my resume to any company in the USA and have them call me directly to arrange all necessities? Or would they not ever hire me because I live in another country, even if I'm perfect for their requirements?

+1, "where should i..." is a good question. -1, "why doesn't..." is a horrible title. net vote: 0. – quack quixote Feb 25 '10 at 4:16
For point (2) you'll need a work permit and that's not that easy to get. – Timo Geusch Feb 25 '10 at 6:40

response is very slow on these two – Jitendra Feb 25 '10 at 2:52
You should have seen SO when it only had a handful of active users! – Adam Davis Feb 25 '10 at 5:08
actually, it was great even at the private beta – juan Feb 25 '10 at 18:52
@Downvoter - Careeroverflow is only 20 days old. Stackoverflow was about as 'hopping' as Careeroverflow at 20 days old. By the time I joined the SO beta a few months after the beta started, yes, it was great. But at 20 days? Still pretty slow. – Adam Davis Feb 25 '10 at 19:29
yeah, i have started there, in careeroverflow. It's slow but it's seem have great prospect. Maybe after a few month, the site will be more crowned. – justjoe Mar 26 '10 at 15:41
