Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I didn't go through all badge definitions. But this one should be considered an alarm sign for people, shouldn't it?

No, being on SO all the time is a sign of a normal, healthy developer. At least I hope so.

What should really be alarming is getting the Fanatic badge on Meta.

Hey! Meta is way cooler than SO – juan Mar 2 '10 at 15:52
@Downvoter: Says the guy who doesn't have Fanatic here. – mmyers Mar 2 '10 at 16:00
I was close, then I went to the beach for 2 weeks... – juan Mar 2 '10 at 17:26

Using Firefox? Good. Click on the site's icon next to the url, and click on More Information...
It counts how many times you've visited.
Now, that's alarming. The day count is peanuts...

The day count is peanuts... Yeah! You could have a completely healthy approach to SO and be here every day. Well, mostly healthy. .. Preeeeetty healthy. – D_N Mar 2 '10 at 11:37
Nice find! Now it only says 8450 times for me for SO, so I wonder how long ago I last cleared my browser cache... :) – Ether Mar 2 '10 at 16:18

Using Safari? Good. Blame the badge on Top Sites. ;-)

Or even if you've opened the sites in tabs on Firefox ;) – ChrisF Mar 2 '10 at 12:00
