Yes, there's a "link" permalink for each answer to a question. It's right next to the "flag" link at the bottom of the answer.

Update: It appears the "link" text has been updated to "share" text. –  jp2code Oct 5 '12 at 13:47

I just noticed that too, that the "share" to social networking sites AND the "link" text are all rolled up into the "share" text. It used to look like this meta.stackexchange.com/a/101026/160875 Not sure how I missed that either! –  Feral Oink Oct 6 '12 at 10:45

"link" would be clearer. I wonder how many views this page has had since the change. –  A.M. Jul 3 '13 at 0:36

Was this really the second taunt of an answer in a row ("Ha ha...*I* know how to do it. Good luck with that...")?? ...and did the OP's comment response to the taunts really come over 3 years later?? Hilarious. –  A.M. Jul 3 '13 at 0:52
