This question has been asked before and already has an answer. If those answers do not fully address your question, please ask a new question.

Should probably be on Meta, though. – Andreas Rejbrand Apr 11 '10 at 14:18
What does this have to do with Ruby? – SLaks Apr 11 '10 at 14:19
To those voting to delete, I don't think this one should be. It will give more search hooks for those looking for this question, and Rahul gave a very good answer. – Lance Roberts Apr 18 '10 at 5:24
This is a bit johnny-come-lately, but the answers in this are no longer relevant, as the preferred method is now to upload images to Stackoverflow directly and let them be hosted on a professional imgur site. See New Image Upload Support for details. – saluce Jun 7 '12 at 13:48

Upload the image on an image hosting site like imageshack.us. Get the link.

This doesn't answer the question. – SLaks Apr 11 '10 at 14:29
Shouldn’t steps 1 and 2 be reversed? It seems hasty to start adding an image before you have one available. – Synetech Apr 11 '10 at 15:00
@Synetech: reversed. Thanks for the suggestion. – missingfaktor Apr 11 '10 at 15:52
options 2, 3 and 4 show nothing – Veverke Mar 25 at 10:15

You need to upload your image to a website, such as ImageShack.
You can then paste the uploaded URL into your question.

This means the "add image - from my computer" option does not work ? (I myself am not able to add an image this way) – Veverke Mar 25 at 10:15
@Veverke: I wrote this answer before that feature existed. What problem are you having? – SLaks Mar 25 at 13:02
SO will simply not add the image you pick from the computer. – Veverke Mar 25 at 15:11

Upload your image to a web server.

You can add image from your local computer. There is an option for that. – Sanket Pipariya Sep 13 '14 at 3:38
