Which one works best? I tried StackApplet and my experience is bad. It need 2-3 times authorization every day. – Gaurav Agarwal Dec 16 '12 at 17:08

I've designed an app for this. It will show you live desktop alerts for new questions. It's made with VB.NET for Windows. You can find it on stackapps.

Note: I am the developer of this product

If you use Google Chrome, there is an excellent extension that keeps you updated on changes to your profile.

That was exactly what I've been searching for. Could you remember its name, please? – Oct 3 '15 at 22:27
