Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Here's what the WMD Google Code page says:

Version 3.0 should be released in February/March 2009 and will a major rewrite making use of jQuery.

Has this been released? What is the status of the project?

..........what? – Jon Seigel May 11 '10 at 2:07
We only do 2D on Meta, no statues; they're too hard to put a freehand circle around. – Lance Roberts May 11 '10 at 2:35
3d freehand spheres? – Gnome May 11 '10 at 4:38
Yes, spheres. A true fan would buy several hundred monitors and mount them on a sliding rack. – Pops May 11 '10 at 18:29

I'm back on the case. No timeline yet but I'll update as things progress.

Sorry for the delay... I had a Ph.D. to finish and I started a new job.

We're still discussing this with Dana. I just emailed him the other day. He just submitted his thesis so in theory he might be more free to work on this. I'll advise as I know more.
