Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Some badges can be won once, some others are repeatable.

I didn't figure this out at first, since it's just not written anywhere that I can see.

Moreover, looking at the badge list, it doesn't say which are repeatable and which are not.

I think repeatable badges should be slightly different, such as having a slightly different color of background, or any other cosmetic difference (and this difference should be explained in the badges tab).

Oh, true. But it does not appear in the list of all badges: meta.stackoverflow.com/badges – forget it May 15 '10 at 12:30
