Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Area51 votes/newest/on-topic/off-topic tabs should be remembered for each proposal, and not globally.

Our interest in a given proposal might be at a different stage. When surfing the Area51 site it bugs me that the active tab is whatever the active tab was for the previous proposal, and not when I was last looking at that particular proposal.

I'd want the opposite; that is, the current behavior. That's how other sorting tabs work within a single SE site. – Gnome Jun 3 '10 at 16:53
Stop fretting over things like this and follow my proposal. – JSONBog Jun 3 '10 at 17:06
