Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

In Area 51, you can't submit example questions longer than 150 characters; ok, that's fine (although I think the limit should be larger).

But a character counter would be very helpful there...

Good catch! We added a character counter.

You seem to have a ♦, but I don't recall your name. Are you one of the NYC team? – mmyers Jun 9 '10 at 22:29
Yup- started a few months ago, and decided it's finally time to start trolling meta :) – Emmett Jun 9 '10 at 22:36
Did you start after the question you asked? Because I remember the question, just not the diamond. – mmyers Jun 9 '10 at 22:38
