I'm browsing page 8 of the proposal list, and I like one of the proposals, so I click through, follow, and maybe ask a question. The only way to get back to page 8 is to use the back button several times or click back to the front, scroll down to use the paginator to get to page 5, then scroll down to get it again.

Maybe we could have a link back to where we were when we clicked through to the site?

I usually just middle-click links when I want to get back to exactly where I was. A new tab is much easier to deal with than browsing history (or back-clicking forever). –  Michael Todd Jun 16 '10 at 22:43
