Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Possible Duplicates:
Will the SE team be ready to launch, when the first site is at 100%
Are Area51 Proposals Capped at 90% Commitment Currently?
When will Stack Exchange proposals go beta?

I'm curious, since the most active site on area51 right now has over 300 commitments, but it's been stuck at 90% for a long time. Are they being held because the "beta" phase isn't ready, or is there some subtlety to the algorithm that's not apparent?

Apparently this should be mentioned somewhere on area51, as it wasn't quite as sneaky as Joel had hoped – Michael Mrozek Jun 22 '10 at 14:59

I searched but did not find :(. Anyway, now I know. – JSBձոգչ Jun 22 '10 at 14:59

Don't worry too much about having not found this particular case. As Ivo pointed out, people have a surprising ability to phrase the same concept in too many differing ways. – Grace Note Jun 22 '10 at 15:05
