Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:

Yesterday, I added one tag to this question, but I didn't get the Organizer badge.

Tomorrow I added one tag in this question. But I didn't get Organizer badge.

Jeff is still working on implementing the ability for the server to see into the future.

It should be coming soon, but until then, you're probably going to wait until a few minutes or maybe an hour after the your re-tag actually happens.

Edit: After looking at your question and account, I think you have misunderstood what the organizer badge is.

It is for re-tagging other people's posts, not your own. This can be done after you've reached 500 rep.

Sorry for my silly mistake.. I waited for more than 12 hours.. still I am not having organizer badge. – Himadri Jul 1 '10 at 6:19
@Himadri -- Sorry, I didn't look carefully at the time stamp. I was just thinking that, yes, I noticed a delay between when I first re-tagged and when I got my badge. I've offered an alternative (and one which I believe to be correct) suggestion to your problem in my answer. – Justin L. Jul 1 '10 at 6:26
OK thanks for that... but in help of organizer badge it is just written First Retag. That's why I misunderstood. – Himadri Jul 1 '10 at 6:47
@Himadri I read over the badge, and I do agree that it's a bit misleading. Perhaps you could offer a feature request? – Justin L. Jul 1 '10 at 6:54
