Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Is that possible to switch between common network web sites like stackoverflow, area51... with a way that is common between all sites?

Like for example a hover list at the logo of each site?

let's see how long our grease-monkey wielding readers take to sort that out (ideally via stackauth.com/0.9/sites).... – Marc Gravell Jul 1 '10 at 8:27

Perhaps meta.stackexchange.com/questions/842/stackoverflow-sister-sites/… will suit your needs? It is probably outdated, though. – Grace Note Jul 8 '10 at 16:05

I agree, I am active mainly on stackoverflow but increasingly active on Database Administrators. Switching between them requires me to either navigate to my profile and clicking on one of my accounts (two to three clicks). Or typing it into the address bar. That's far less than ideal. – M Afifi Jun 26 '12 at 10:24
