Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

The Careers footer included a link for the How To Geek, but not a link to Area 51.

Every other site (Stack Overflow, Super User, Server Fault, Meta) has the link to Area 51, and no link for How To Geek.

Why is there a discrepancy?

Because they are two completely different websites? – Andreas Bonini Jul 13 '10 at 20:28

Because it wasn't updated when the others were? – ChrisF Jul 13 '10 at 20:35

Why do you care? – nb69307 Jul 13 '10 at 20:46

We've updated it, thanks.

Must be a new thing, since I'm not seeing the How To Geek link on anything anymore. I suspect this was removed from all of the footers.
