Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

On Geographic Information Systems, my commitment shows a contribution from Food and Cooking, but not from Web Applications. What is the reason?

I believe a site is only shown when you have >=200 reputation on it. So I'm guessing your cooking rep is greater than (or equal to) 200, but your webapps rep is not, and that's why webapps doesn't show up on Area 51.

Too bad. I had high hopes for the 100 point association bounty :-) – Rosinante Jul 16 '10 at 11:13

These sites aren't formally members of the network until they survive public beta -- that takes 60 to 90 days.

Well, cooking hasn't survived (yet) but it is listed. Is that a bug? – Rosinante Jul 16 '10 at 11:13

Same with programmers – BenV Oct 22 '10 at 0:30
