If I have purchased a 1-year CV filing on Stack Overflow Careers, returning to the purchasing page shows that the 1-year filing has been changed to say "extend the filing for another year," but the permanent listing is unchanged. I think it would make sense for those who have recently purchased a 1-year listing to be able to upgrade it into a permanent listing for the difference in price.

great suggestion; we'll discuss, and I'll follow up afterwards (probably next week). – Korneel Bouman Jul 20 '10 at 17:06

Great idea! At the moment we're focusing on the job posting side of careers, but we will soon return our attention to the CV filing service. As the direction of careers is ever evolving I don't know yet if, and if so how, we will incorporate this, but we agree with the idea that there should be an easy (and attractive) upgrade path. Stay tuned.

Thanks! Should I interpret that as a status-deferred, then? – Larry Wang Jul 28 '10 at 2:30
@Larry Wang: Yup. – Korneel Bouman Jul 28 '10 at 14:17
