Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Possible Duplicate:
What is the etiquette for changing the substance of a question?

See the revision history of this question, and the revision history of another question.

In the second question, the user gets warned by a moderator to not edit his questions. The moderator restores the former revision on the second question.

But on the first question, the user has done the same, but then a day earlier. I can't restore revisions, so how do I contact a moderator that can?

Can you split someone else's question on his/her behalf in two questions?

This question has been asked before and already has an answer. If those answers do not fully address your question, please ask a new question.

I do not understand the edit. Is this some kind of humor? – mafu Jul 21 '10 at 11:53
@mafutrct: It has to do with Paul the Octopus. Didn't Germany forgive him yet? – Daniel Vassallo Jul 21 '10 at 12:06
Didn't realize the freaky question title was an edit. WTH? – Won't Jul 21 '10 at 12:22
@Will It's Weblog, a well known Meta phenomenon. – C. Ross Jul 21 '10 at 12:25
I am not a phenomenon. And stop misspelling my name. – JSONBog Jul 21 '10 at 12:35
This is similar to, if not a duplicate of Exit strategies for "chameleon questions". – Aarobot Jul 21 '10 at 13:58

I think the best way to tackle such a case is to flag the moderators for attention. Most probably they will rollback the question, lock it, and throw away the key.

I can't restore revisions, so how do I contact a moderator that can?

EDIT: Note that with 4k rep, you should be able to rollback other people's posts as well. Just do it when you see something naughty. You'll even get a badge for that.

That "freehand" circle looks suspiciously smooth and unpixelated. Did you use some fancy photoshop to draw your freehand circles for you? – devinb Jul 21 '10 at 11:46
No photoshops. I just have a steady hand... As for the unpixillation, it's probably because I use a Mac :) – Daniel Vassallo Jul 21 '10 at 11:47
@devinb: I smell a tablet and stylus!! ;-) – Andy E Jul 21 '10 at 12:10
/me slaps forehead: never did the association with flag as a verb (only as a noun synonym to banner). @Daniel: thx for the quick answer! – Jeroen Wiert Pluimers Jul 21 '10 at 15:21
moderator restored a previous version for the first question and locked it. – Jeroen Wiert Pluimers Jul 21 '10 at 15:23
