Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

There used to be thousands of posts under the tag [WINFORMS]. As of now, there are only two.

What happened?

This question came from our site for professional and enthusiast programmers.

I also find it a bit confusing, but the question really should go to – Fredrik Mörk Jul 15 '09 at 19:26
perhaps ... but since this issue MAY only be related to missing WINFORMS posts at SO, I posted it here. – CheapScotsman Jul 15 '09 at 19:30

We don't need a [winforms] tag on MetaSO, so I removed it. – Brad Gilbert Jul 15 '09 at 23:33

All winforms questions have been retagged windows-forms as many other tags have been retagged. See The Great Tagging Reorg

I think this change has been reverted and [winforms] is now the correct tag, yes?

Apologies for any confusion. If you think this is in error, let me know.

I'm of the belief that this is in error: - I have seen WinForms used as a term in CVs, put not "Windows Forms". This also lacks symmetry with [wpf] – Rowland Shaw Jul 30 '09 at 16:31
