Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

to name three recent ones... shall we just give them their chance or close as dupes?

Feature-request: for new proposals do an automatic search for related tags at SOFU showing the current question count.

I'm holding out for a proposal for a Stack Exchange site on "strings". – Grace Note Jul 26 '10 at 14:35
I'm holding out for a proposal on proposals. – Rosinante Jul 26 '10 at 15:13
@Rosinante - I recently proposed to propose that on another proposal, but it was met with a strong counter proposal and closed as a duplicate. – Tim Post Jul 26 '10 at 15:26
I'm holding out for a proposal on things tagged *friday*. – Pops Jul 26 '10 at 19:08
(For once, the pared-down comment Markdown works in my favor!) – Pops Jul 26 '10 at 19:09
