Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

How do I decide where to ask about WordPress questions? There is an old question, but there are now two additional sites - Webmasters and Web Applications.

You may want to support the WordPress Development proposed site on Area 51. I would anticipate this to be a very useful site.

The proposed site launched. And graduated! – Peter Mortensen Aug 1 '14 at 10:07

I wouldn't ask on Wep Applications - WordPress is a software system, not a web application. It appears to be tolerated on Pro Webmasters for now, however there is at least one WordPress Stack Exchange being proposed, so when that opens, the questions might be discouraged on Pro Webmasters.
