Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 155 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I always get an error page when going to chat.meta.stackoverflow.com

http://chat.meta.stackoverflow.com/

gets redirected to:

http://chat.meta.stackoverflow.com/error?aspxerrorpath=/

Any idea what the problem is?

Browser: Firefox 3.6.6 on Windows XP

Clear your domain cookies, visit meta, log in, then try again.

You really ought to fix that problem on your end instead of asking all of your users to clear their cookies. – JSONBog Aug 5 '10 at 10:48

@weblog there are some rare legacy cookies out there which we're about to stop supporting. (expire date in 4 months) – Jeff Atwood Aug 5 '10 at 10:59

That worked - thanks. I guess I had one of those rare legacy cookies then. – Douglas Leeder Aug 5 '10 at 12:01

Are you on mobile? I'm seeing an odd error in the log about a mobile client...
