Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Maybe this is something to not bother with, but I thought of it because Usernames ending in Json Cause Trouble was fixed.

Bonus: The two 404s are different!

Interesting. Ending with .aspx produces a 404, ending with .asax produces an XML parser error, and ending with .asmx takes you to the right page! – Jon Seigel Aug 31 '10 at 2:32
@Jon: Funny, .asax isn't giving me an XML parser error. – Brian Aug 31 '10 at 2:41
With second link I got a WSOD. – kiamlaluno Aug 31 '10 at 2:55
The parsing error thing appears to be client-side (Firefox). If I view source on the page, it's completely empty. @kia – Jon Seigel Aug 31 '10 at 3:32
Is there a username that this actually fits? Not seeing one in search. – Rebecca Chernoff Aug 31 '10 at 3:34
Not just usernames.… – Rebecca Chernoff Aug 31 '10 at 3:36

This isn't a bug, because the dot in the name will be replaced by a "-" in the link to his profile.

Example : Add ".aspx" to your name.
